apartment

Furnished apartment for rent $775/month.

Daily ($55) and weekly ($300) rates sometimes available.

Deposit is $775..

This apartment is turn-key; you could come with nothing at all. It has dishes, pots & pans, bedding, towels, etc. Please ask if you need something not shown and if we have it available we will provide it.

This building is across the railroad tracks from downtown North Pole next to the Little U Daycare and 2 doors down from the skate park. The building is tan, and between the white Little U Daycare building and a red building. Our for rent sign is on the side of the building.

Note: all the apartments have identical layout. The price is based strictly on quality and furnishings.

All utilities except phone/internet and cable are included. We do not provide phone, internet or cable, so if you want any of those you will have to pay for them. Yes, electricity is included except there will be a surcharge in the winter.

The heat is hot water baseboard, provided from our boiler. Domestic hot water is also from our boiler.

We provide water and sewer. It is North Pole city water, so it is decent water (no rust).

There is a full sized bathroom, with a tub/shower combination.

No laundry in the building (sorry); the closest laundry is Forbes--about a mile away on the other end of 5th (corner of 5th and the Richardson Highway).

There are plug-ins for cars. We do not have assigned parking except for the most expensive apartment (the $125/night one). Parking is somewhat limited so there may be a charge (usually $35/month) for more than 1 vehicle on the property.

The schools are North Pole Elementary School, North Pole Middle School, and North Pole High School.

The bus stop is about 0.2 miles away, on the corner of 5th and Old Richardson. The route is the green line.

There is an application required, which costs $25 per adult. Our applications review 3 things : criminal history (no recent felonies); landlord history (people who have been evicted should not bother to apply) and a credit check like a bank does (no recent bankruptcies or court ordered collections or collections from other landlords). When applying we also require $50 earnest money (to hold the apartment 2 days while we process the application), so be sure to bring enough cash to cover this if you think you might be applying (sorry, we don't accept anything but cash for applications). If we turn you down for any reason the earnest money is returned. When you pass it is applied to (i.e. subtracted from) your first month's rent. (The only way you loose the earnest money is if you change your mind about renting the apartment.)

As long as your credit rating isn't horrible, the deposit is equal to the rent. First month's rent and deposit must be paid before move-in.

Sorry, no pets.

If you have any questions or would like to set up a show, please feel free to call us at show contact info . We are not good at answering email, sorry!
