Great Land Window manufactures custom fiberglass windows and doors in Fairbanks on Van Horn Road. We are looking for both part-time and full-time window and door assembly workers. Accuracy and attention to detail are necessary.
This job requires the operation of hand and stationary saws, drilling, and fastening machinery. No direct window building experience is necessary but prior experience using hand tools will be helpful. Math skills, attention to detail, and working in an innovative environment are desired. Must be friendly and dependable.
We are constantly innovating and adapting our products to provide superior performance in arctic conditions. We send them all over Alaska and into Canada, Greenland, and Antarctica. In addition to manufacturing, we must invent many of our features and methods as well as build our own manufacturing tools and fixtures. To support this, our facilities include 3D Printers, Waterjet, CNC Mill and Lathe, and Welders, and a wide variety of metal and wood working tools.
