Treeing Walker Coonhound x Georgia Patch Beagle (Fairbanks)

Treeing Walker Coonhound x Georgia Patch Beagle 1 thumbnailTreeing Walker Coonhound x Georgia Patch Beagle 2 thumbnail
The parents to be are a male Treeing Walker Coonhound from an Idaho black line and a female Georgia [Tsa La Gi] Patch Beagle. They should be due in late May or early June and ready to go 8 weeks later. He has brought in hogs, goats and sheep, assisted with escaped rabbits and can handle a track at least 15 hours old. She comes from the largest, most gritty line of Beagles: maled weigh up to 42# and females up to 35#. Beagles from her line have been used on deer, fox, coyote, swamp rabbit, snowshoe hare and black bear. I expect the pups to be intermediate in size and good for coyote, black bear and snowshoe hare, the only furred game species which can be legally hunted in Alaska with dogs. Please contact me about the rehoming fee. I expect a litter of 6, with 1 definitely spoken for and another pending.
