Pacific Environmental Corporation (PENCO) is currently hiring Spill Response Technicians for on call / as needed spill response and seasonal environmental project work covering all regions within Alaska with a primary focus on the Prudhoe Bay oil fields. We are looking for responsible, self motivated men and women who are interested in starting a challenging and rewarding career in oil spill response and environmental services. No experience necessary. All training will be provided. Spill Response Call-Out durations vary and are based on the incident; may lead to full-time rotational work (2x2 or 3x3) for environmental and/or seasonal projects. Standard 12 hour work minimum work days apply upon arrival to the North Slope which equates to a minimum of 84 hours per standard work week (40 hours straight time and 44 hours overtime).
We are a drug free company and all candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. All required environmental certifications, training, and gear will be paid for and provided by PENCO upon successful completion of the hiring process. Point of hire for this position is Anchorage and all incident response mobilizations and required project travel will be based from there. Out of state residents are welcome to apply, however you are responsible for all travel costs and related expenses from your home of record to Anchorage. Current Alaska residents will be given priority.
