1.25 mile walk, run, ski through trails to West Ridge buildings. One of the closest cabins in town to West Ridge / upper campus. A few blocks from the Parks / Mitchell Highway which gets you anywhere in town in 15 minutes or less.
Property adjacent to a nice established winter trail through the woods 250 feet down the private road. The trail goes about two miles to the Northwest. There are 100 acres of undeveloped state land directly in front of the cabin. The UAF ski trails are 1/2 mile away by road.
Rent is $575 + fuel (cooking propane + heating fuel). $575 Deposit. Reasonable use of electricity is included in the rent; only one car headbolt heater may be plugged in at any one time, no EV charging , and no electric heater use; a toyostove is provided for heat, tenant purchases cooking propane and heating fuel/oil.
One dog on approval with an additional $25 a month and an additional $100 deposit (extra rent for pet renegotiable/removable after 6 months without any damage or issues). No cats.
Available now. No smokers. Lease required through the winter, month to month during next summer. Preference given to UAF grad/undergrad student, full/part-time UAF Staff/Faculty, and those in federal, state and nonprofit jobs in the wildlife and biology fields of work with good rental history.
